Fast and Easy Meals

QUICK AND EASY CALZONES
  • 13.8-oz refrigerated pizza crust
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 18 slices pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • Italian seasoning, to taste
  • grated parmesan cheese, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray baking sheet with nonstick cookie spray (or use a baking mat).
  2. Roll out the pizza crust, and cut it into 6 equal-sized squares.
  3. In the middle of each square, place a portion of the pizza sauce, shredded cheese, and pepperoni.
  4. Fold the dough over into a triangle, and use a fork to press along the edges of the triangle to seal it closed.
  5. Place calzones onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top of each calzone with butter, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese.
  6. Place in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until tops are golden brown. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
HAM & CHEESE CRESCENTS
  • 8-oz can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 ounces deli ham (16 slices) ( you can use carving ham leftovers)
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese (8 slices)
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Separate dough into 8 equal pieces (they usually separate into triangles)
  3. Place 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of cheese (folded in half) on the larger end of the triangle.
  4. Roll the crescent up with the ham and cheese inside, and place it tip side down on a baking sheet (I used a baking mat, but you could line it with aluminum foil for easy clean-up, too).
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, until tops are golden brown.
  6. Serve warm.
